Debra Nagler is the owner, trainer and behavior specialist at Ace Dog Training. She began her lifelong career in 1975, and still believes that her greatest teachers are the thousands of dogs she has worked with. She has been certified as a Master Trainer since 1981. Her experience and diverse background combined with a rare and unparalled ability to communicate with the dogs makes her one of the country’s most proficient and successful trainers. She has held various positions at training, breeding and boarding kennels since the beginning of her career. Her reputation as a behavior specialist and trainer has been built on a revolutionary technique known as Relational Dynamics, which creates immediate, amazing and lasting success, even with dogs once thought of as a lost cause. Specializing in behavior, as well as teaching obedience, she is able to successfully change undesired behaviors and attitudes in dogs. Debra reaches dogs with an amazing unspoken communication. She touches even the most profoundly disturbed animals, brings out their true nature and leaves their owners with a wonderful companion. Her gifting is in the knowing of how to reach each dog based on their individuality. Debra considers her life's work is educating owners and giving them a real perspective about what makes sense to their dog. She doesn't correct undesired behavior, but atually teaches what IS the desired behavior; always working to the point where the dog understands and is willing. She is widely recognized as one of the most successful behavior specialists by many veterinarians, and other dog professionals, who also highly recommend her. Debra has trained and consulted for various rescue organizations, such as Safe Harbor, Weimerainer, Doberman, Labrador and Rottweiler rescues, and Big Dog Ranch Rescue.
